Inhouse rehabilitation encompasses the repair, renovation, and renewal of pipes and drains located inside buildings. These projects often involve special challenges such as confined spaces, vertical pipes, frequent dimensional changes, or complex architectural conditions. Our specialized partners use cutting-edge technology and modern trenchless methods to ensure the inhouse rehabilitation is as minimally invasive, cost-effective, customized, and efficient as possible.
Lining is also a key trenchless method used in inhouse rehabilitation. The old pipe is lined with a textile tube impregnated with resin, which is inserted using air or water pressure. The liner then hardens to form a new, fully functional pipe within the old one. This method is suitable for pipe diameters ranging from DN 50 to DN 400.
In this method, a rotating brush distributes resin along the inner pipe wall. The resin quickly hardens to seal the pipe. This technique is ideal for complex pipe layouts and small diameters (from DN 40). The smooth surface created by the cured resin also improves flow characteristics.
With this approach, epoxy resin is sprayed onto the interior surface of the pipe using a rotating nozzle. Spraylining is quick, trenchless, and can be applied from existing access points—such as a sanitary connection. It is suitable for small pipe sizes starting at DN 40.
Inside buildings, there are often shafts (e.g., wastewater shafts with or without channels) that require maintenance and repair. These are either manually patched with special mortar or coated with a particularly durable resin.
