DF-ING successfully renovates sewer in nature reserve

In a nature reserve near Aschaffenburg, the concrete storage sewer for combined water discharge had to be sealed. It was a challenging task, as the DN 1200/1800 sewer was severely damaged, extended over 205 meters, ran through a 23-degree bend, and passed through a partially unpaved forest area.

Our subsidiary DF-ING, based in Karlstein am Main, opted for an especially resource-efficient and environmentally friendly trenchless rehabilitation using the 1800H liner from Reline Europe.


This 24-ton UV liner, reinforced with fiberglass, offers exceptional flexibility—making it ideal for adapting to the 23-degree bend in the sewer alignment. Special manhole modifications were required to enable its installation.

Precise planning for environmentally conscious execution


Accurate planning, precise implementation, and technical excellence made it possible to complete the work within the scheduled timeframe and resume sewer operations quickly—with as little disturbance to the surrounding flora and fauna as possible.
